  Good food, nice environment - it's not a gourmet restaurant but it's a good value pub with decent food in a clean and tidy environment. Something for everyone and a great place to take kids with a strong menu choice, Wacky Warehouse and some seating booths with built in TV screens!

  Having visited the restaurant some time ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience, me and my partner had been planning to return for some time - having heard that the place had been taken over and redone by Hungry Horse. Upon arriving and entering, however, we were met with a feeling of not being welcome - as apposed to the welcoming atmosphere we had experienced during our previous visit. We sat down to peruse the menu, only to find that - since our last visit - the menu had become incredibly limited and bland, making it much more difficult to choose something we thought we would enjoy. Eventually, we each decided on something and my partner went up to order, only to return and tell me that the staff had been rather rude - taking our order, slamming our drinks onto the counter and simply yelling 'Next!' without another word. When our food arrived, the taste was just as good as i had remembered, however, we both agreed that our food had been served colder than was acceptable. Deciding to let it slide and eat it anyway, i finished the most part of the meat platter i ordered and moved on to the last steak, however despite the fact that we had ordered it medium, the steak was still bleeding and rare in the middle. I didn't eat it. Being still hungry, we decided we would order some nachos, only to have both the waiter we asked for them and the waiter who served them to us be incredibly rude. Upon digging into the nachos we found that not only were they stone cold, they were also poorly presented and seemed to have been made with cheep ingredients - we both agreed we could have made better nachos at home for less than we had paid for these ones.

  The meals we ordered were new on the menu, and were delicious, cooked perfectly, the staff were polite and happy to help you, I'm really not a burger fan but this took my fancy and decided to give it a go, and I'm glad I did , both my husband and I cleared our plates. Complements to the chef
